Who is behind the organisation of the C4E Forum?
Since April 2022, the Renovate Europe Campaign has become the new home of the C4E Forum.

2027: Maribor, Slovenia
The 6th C4E Forum will take place on 18–21 May 2027 in Maribor, Slovenia. As in 2021 in Poiana Brașov, the Forum will again be held in the mountains.
The Renovate Europe Campaign is organising the 2027 edition together with its co-organiser, Prosperia, a Slovenian company that organises events for energy and industry professionals working on the clean energy transition.
The Forum is also supported by IRI UL – the Institute for Innovation and Development of the University of Ljubljana, our National Partner Slovenski gradbeni grozd – GIZ, and the Building and Civil Engineering Institute ZRMK. Together they bring research and technical expertise to the programme.
2025: Cavtat, Croatia
The C4E Forum 2025 took place on 20–23 May in Cavtat, on the Dalmatian coast near Dubrovnik. The Renovate Europe Campaign organised it together with its national co-organiser, HUPFAS, the Croatian Association of Thermal Facade Systems Manufacturers.

2023: Šamorín, Slovakia
The C4E Forum 2023 took place on 23–26 May in Šamorín, near Bratislava, under the patronage of the then President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová.
It was the first edition organised by the Renovate Europe Campaign, which became the home of the C4E Forum in April 2022. The national co-organiser was Buildings for the Future.
2021: Poiana Brașov, Romania
Postponed from 2020 because of the pandemic, the C4E Forum 2021 took place on 21–24 September in Poiana Brașov, bringing the Forum to a third country of the CEE region.
It was organised together with a local partner on the ground, the Pro-nZEB Cluster, led at the time by its president, Horia Petran.

2016 and 2018: Bulgaria and Poland
The first C4E Forum took place in June 2016 in Balchik, Bulgaria. It was organised by three partners: the European Climate Foundation, the Bulgarian Green Building Council as the local organiser on the ground, and Chance for Buildings, the Czech alliance of trade associations for energy-efficient construction.
The second edition followed in June 2018 in Serock, Poland, bringing together 210 participants, more than 75% of them from the CEE region.
