C4E Forum 2023

The Central & Eastern European Energy Efficiency Forum

23–26 May 2023

Šamorín, Slovakia

Central & Eastern European Energy Efficiency Forum

Not your average conference

The Central and Eastern European Energy Efficiency Forum came to Šamorín, Slovakia, for its 2023 edition — two and a half days of sessions focusing on the energy efficiency of buildings. The main topics addressed at the event were energy security, the rebuilding of Ukraine, and EU policy, including the REPowerEU plan and the Fit-for-55 package.

Programme structure

The C4E Forum was a time-efficient event: it started late on the Tuesday and finished early on the Friday with departures. That meant two and a half days full of different types of sessions, all focusing on energy efficiency — from high-level plenaries to panel sessions on practical topics, with plenty of time for networking.

60-minute events prepared and hosted by sponsors on an important, relevant topic.

Poster sessions

A new idea for the 2023 edition: presenting a topic by means of a poster.

Controversial ideas session

A session designed to spice things up with a little controversy, rather than preach to the choir.
