C4E Forum 2025
Knowledge Hub
21–22 May 2025
10 posters
12 EU-funded projects
A marketplace for projects and case studies. New in 2025, the Knowledge Hub gave selected participants a dedicated space to showcase their case studies, projects and other insights in formats beyond a panel presentation.
For those who preferred not to present during a panel session, it was a great opportunity to share their expertise and connect with others.
The Knowledge Hub brought together three spaces:
Posters
Case studies by participants, on topics ranging from one-stop shops and financing to the promotion of renovation and the retrofit of historic buildings.
Projects corner
A display of roll-up banners by a selection of EU-funded projects.
CINEA stand
A chance to learn about EU funding opportunities and technical support.

Posters
Ten posters were on display throughout the Knowledge Hub, with a dedicated poster session on Wednesday 21 May, 16:00–17:30. Topics ranged from one-stop shops, financing and the promotion of renovation to the retrofit of historic buildings. See also the full poster session.

EU funding · LIFE Clean Energy Transition
CINEA stand
At the CINEA stand, participants could discover how LIFE Clean Energy Transition funds projects driving the EU’s sustainable energy and energy efficiency objectives, and learn about LIFE funding opportunities for 2025.
The LIFE Clean Energy Transition sub-programme has a budget of nearly EUR 1 billion over the period 2021–2027 and aims to support the energy transition across Europe. LIFE CET addresses non-technological market barriers that hinder the socio-economic transition to energy efficiency and renewable energy. LIFE CET projects usually involve multiple small and medium-sized stakeholders, including local and regional public authorities and non-profit organisations.
The LIFE CET call for proposals 2025 was open until 23 September 2025. Funding supported projects in five areas of intervention:
- Building a national, regional and local policy framework supporting the clean energy transition
- Accelerating technology roll-out, digitalisation, new services and business models, and enhancing the related professional skills on the market
- Attracting private finance for sustainable energy
- Supporting the development of local and regional investment projects
- Involving and empowering citizens in the clean energy transition
