The C4E Champion Award recognises public officials in Central and Eastern Europe who have made an outstanding contribution to energy efficiency policy in their country or region.

Award process

What and why?

The award ceremony was part of the C4E Forum programme on 23–26 May 2023 in Šamorín, Slovakia, recognising public officials advancing energy efficiency policy in Central and Eastern Europe.

Who and what for?

A public official from central, regional, or municipal government, public institution, agency, or authority active in energy efficiency policies for at least three years could be nominated, with one nomination per country.

How?

The nomination process ran in two phases, from an initial proposal form through final nomination documents and jury selection before the C4E Forum.
